Full Vacancy Description

WE are looking for a Trading Standards practitioner to join our north west England local authority client on a temporary basis

As a Trading Standard Specialist with our north west England Council you will:

Enforce standards and/or regulating community activity

Support with the delivery of statutory enforcement obligations and where necessary liaise with other Council departments or relevant bodies

Ideally have technical experience of Weights and Measures, but this is not essential

To be considered for this great opportunity you will need:

Working experience within Trading Standards

Knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to enforcement in Trading Standards and a practical approach to its application.

Hold a relevant qualification, ideally a Diploma in Trading Standards or Diploma in Consumer Affairs and Trading Standards or equivalent

This an ongoing temporary post and will really help boost your skills and experience within Trading Standards.
